UP NEET counselling questions, answered clearly.

Understand what the predictor can tell you, what still requires official verification, and how to use each counselling route correctly.
Which rank should I enter in the predictor?+

Enter your NEET All India Rank (AIR), not your category rank or Uttar Pradesh state merit rank.

Does this predictor cover All India Quota counselling?+

Yes. MCC mode uses the nationwide official 2025 Round 1 MBBS matrices: participating-state 15% AIQ colleges, AIIMS/JIPMER/BHU, central universities, ESIC and deemed universities, plus the UP government colleges that also contribute AIQ seats. The live 2026 matrix controls final availability, and MCC cutoffs are never mixed with UP state-quota cutoffs.

How accurate is the UP NEET college prediction?+

The tool does not publish unsupported probability percentages. It reports historical fit, loaded observations and evidence confidence; none is an admission guarantee.

Is UP domicile required for state counselling?+

State eligibility depends on the current UPDGME rules and your education, domicile and category documents. The 2026 Round 1 instruction requires the domicile certificate to be uploaded when applicable; verify your eligibility pathway on the official portal.

What are the current UP NEET 2026 Round 1 deadlines?+

UP Round 1 registration and document upload closed after a final extension from 13 August at 11:00 AM to 14 August at 2:00 PM. Registration-fee and security-money payment ended at 5:00 PM on 14 August. As checked on 22 August, UPNEET has not yet published Uttar Pradesh-specific merit-list, choice-filling, allotment or reporting dates.

What are the UP NEET 2026 security deposits?+

The official Round 1 instruction sets ₹30,000 for government medical/dental seats, ₹2,00,000 for private medical seats and ₹1,00,000 for private dental seats. Security money is separate from tuition.

Are private MBBS colleges included?+

Yes. All private, trust, society, minority and deemed MBBS institutions appearing in the final NMC 2025–26 Uttar Pradesh matrix are listed after government colleges. Unverified private cutoff cells are shown as unrated rather than estimated.

When should I update my college choices?+

Review your preference list after the official 2026 seat matrix and after every allotment round. Never miss reporting, resignation or security-payment deadlines.

Which categories can I compare?+

The predictor supports General, OBC-NCL, EWS, SC and ST. Select a reserved category only when your certificate satisfies the current counselling authority's eligibility and validity rules.

Are AIIMS Gorakhpur and AIIMS Rae Bareli included?+

Yes. Both Uttar Pradesh AIIMS and major national AIIMS choices are included and correctly labelled under MCC AIIMS or INI counselling rather than UP state counselling.

Are the displayed fees exact?+

Not always. Fee bands are planning indicators until an exact current official fee order is linked. Confirm tuition, hostel, security deposits and other charges with the college and counselling authority before locking a choice.

What does the clinical exposure indicator mean?+

It is an editorial planning signal based on institutional maturity, referral role and available evidence. It is not a live patient-footfall measurement and should be verified directly with the institution.

Can the predictor guarantee an allotment?+

No. Allotment depends on the live seat matrix, eligibility, reservation roster, candidate preferences, rank distribution and choices submitted in each official round.

Where should I ask a counselling-specific question?+

Use the UP MedChoice enquiry page for rank, category, route and choice-order questions. For registration, payment, reporting or allotment disputes, contact UPDGME or MCC through the official portal.
